Terms of Service
The terms that govern your use of the Nurse Tasker website, web app, and mobile apps.
Last updated: 5 August 2026On this page
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or otherwise using Nurse Tasker (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you're accepting on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have the authority to bind that organisation, and "you" refers to both you and that organisation.
2. Description of Service
Nurse Tasker provides clinical shift planning (Time Planner), ward/bed tracking (Bed Board), and multi-organisation administration tools, accessible through our website, web app, and native mobile apps. Features and availability may change over time as we improve the Service.
3. Accounts & Organisations
You're responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information when registering.
Organisation administrators are responsible for managing their organisation's membership, roles, and permissions, and for ensuring staff they add or invite are authorised to access the organisation's data. We are not responsible for disputes between an organisation and its own staff over data access, editing history, or account management decisions made by that organisation's administrators.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that violates any applicable healthcare, privacy, or data protection law.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to another organisation's data, or to any part of the Service you're not authorised to use.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service, including through excessive automated requests, or attempts to circumvent rate limits or security controls.
- Upload content that is unlawful, harmful, or that infringes another person's rights.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service, except where permitted by law.
5. Pricing & Free Access
A solo (individual) account is free to use, permanently, with no time limit. Organisation accounts are currently free to use in full while Nurse Tasker is in launch, with no seat limits or feature restrictions.
If we ever introduce paid plans for organisation accounts, we will give existing organisations advance notice before any change takes effect, and a reasonable opportunity to continue using the Service or export their data. Nothing in these Terms should be read as a permanent guarantee of free service for organisation accounts indefinitely — only that we will not surprise existing customers with a sudden paywall.
6. Clinical Use Disclaimer
Nurse Tasker is a shift-planning and workflow coordination tool. It is not a clinical decision-support system, not an electronic health record, and not a substitute for professional clinical judgment, your organisation's own policies, or applicable standards of care. Task lists, reminders and handover notes recorded in the Service are aids to coordination, not clinical instructions, and should always be verified against your organisation's own clinical systems and protocols where those differ. Your organisation is responsible for how it uses the Service in the delivery of care.
7. Intellectual Property
Nurse Tasker and its original content, features and functionality are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain all rights to the shift, task, and organisational data you or your organisation enter into the Service ("Customer Data"); we do not claim ownership of it, and use it only to provide the Service to you, as described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Availability & Support
We aim to keep the Service available and reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted availability. Free accounts do not carry a formal service-level agreement; organisations with specific uptime or support requirements should contact us to discuss options.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for accounts that violate these Terms, pose a security risk, or engage in abusive behaviour toward the Service or other users. Where practical, we will give notice before doing so.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nurse Tasker is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or clinical outcomes resulting from reliance on information recorded in the Service by you or your organisation.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or through the Service before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Nurse Tasker is registered to do business, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Specific governing law and venue details will be confirmed here prior to general commercial launch.
